Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
AMA Milwaukee's Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are communities of AMA members and non-members who are interested in sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences with others in their field. The SIGs are formal groups organized around a common area of interest, offering the opportunity for ongoing interaction among professionals with shared interests and responsibilities.
Membership in one SIG is complimentary to all AMA-Milwaukee members. Non-members may participate in an AMA SIG at an annual cost of $50. Please contact Tamika Bowen for additional information.
The Milwaukee chapter of AMA currently offers the following SIGs:
DIRECT MARKETING This SIG is an alliance between the Wisconsin Direct Marketing Association and the Milwaukee Chapter of the American Marketing Association. It is designed to provide Milwaukee-area members with a social, interactive environment for networking and the sharing of insight and ideas related to all aspects of direct marketing.
Meeting Times: This SIG meets monthly and communicates using a LinkedIn subgroup. The group gathers at Pallas Restaurant, 1657 South 108th Street.

MARKET RESEARCH The Market Research Special Interest Group provides members with a social, collaborative environment in which to share knowledge, synthesize ideas, engage in conversation regarding sophisticated marketing research issues, and improve the quality and respect of the marketing research profession.
Meeting Times: This SIG meets in person every other month and communicates using a LinkedIn subgroup. The group regularly meets at Original Pancake House located at 2625 N Downer Ave.
